To all Cape High School Nordic Ski Participants,

 

 

Thank you in advance for your efforts toward the 2011 Cape Nordic Silent Auction.

This is Cape Nordic’s major fundraising event, in addition to being a fun social event and great way to start holiday shopping!  Proceeds help fund over one third of our costs for our coaching staff, uniforms, wax and travel.  With your help we can raise over $4000.  This year we are combining forces with Project Graduation’s “Jingle Fest” which should be fun and draw a large crowd!

 

 

Information you need to know;

  1. The auction will be held Sunday Dec 4th from 3:30-5:30 PM; free admission and refreshments!
  2. We are asking each HIGH SCHOOL SKI TEAM MEMBER, to contribute ONE or MORE AUCTION ITEMS.   Please seek items from local businesses or craftspeople, or you may make a personal contribution in the form of a service, talent or treasure.
  3. A Contributor Information Sheet must be completed for each donation (item or service) obtained. 
  4. Please provide each contributor with a copy of the Thank-you letter.  It describes the program and acknowledges the donation(s).  Your signature at the bottom will provide greater personalization.   Please let the donor know that we provide the option of linking to their website for contributions valued over $150.00 and special recognition with their logo over $250.00.  Please ensure that the contributor information sheet contains the donor’s website and email address. 
  5. If the donation is a service, or an item that cannot be displayed on a table, please provide a descriptive card.  Photos are often effective in describing a service or talent.
  6. Information Sheets and respective item(s) must be turned in to Deb Hatton by November 28th.   We need time to catalogue and prepare items for display.  We will also be able to pick items at the high school after practice on the 28th.
