3/12/09 Cape Elizabeth High School (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) seeks an experienced nordic ski coach for the 2009-2010 season. The Cape Nordic High School program is coed, grades 9-12, with skiers of all levels. Candidates should have racing experience, and the ability to facilitate learning for all skier levels. 3/12/09 More impressive finishes from Cape Nordic racers. Today Elise Moody-Roberts finished 11in the NCAA 5K classic race and Graham Egan finished 2nd in the 15K skate at the Junior Olympics! On Tuesday Emily Attwood placed 11th in the sprint race at JOs. Cape Nordic would also like to congratulate Max Barber for his 2nd place skimeister finish at the Maine Junior Ski championships!
3/7/09 50K? That's what Rick Fontana, Dave Roberts, Colman Hatton, and Erin Hatton completed in the Rangeley Loppet yesterday. Very impressive!
3/6/09 Congratulations to Elise Moody-Roberts who qualified for the NCAA championships. This year the event will be held at Black Mountain in Maine 3-11 through 3-14. Highlights of the skiing championships will be shown on CBS at 1 p.m. Eastern time, Saturday, May 2.
2/24/09 Congratulations to Emily Attwood and Graham Egan who qualified for the JOs in Truckee, CA! Also overdue congratulations to all the High School participants at States early last week. Emily took first place in both the skate and classic races. Other top 10 finishes; Skyler Dunfey (10th CLassic), Bobby Yokabaskas(5th Skate and 10th classic).
